I have a farm at bathurst nsw and am looking at purchasing 50 black top quality australorp hens and 4 energetic roosters every year around October (POL).
Looking for a breeder that is no more than a couple of hours drive away who can assist. Roosters obviously need to be from different bloodlines so I understand if I have to get these elsewhere. I am starting out for the first time with chickens this month so would like to test the waters with 6 hens and one rooster then go from there once I get settled.
Would be great to hear from breeders. Willing to go to sydney area, goulburn, cowra etc. Thanks. Tommy
