Hi All, I'm after 2 Australorp hens. They don't have to be point of lay or very young, I want a couple of these lovely ladies as pets and companions to my-exbattts. I was lucky enough to have a couple a few years ago with some ex-batts and found them to be fun chooks who could hold their own. Their shear size kept the neighborhood cats away when they were free ranging. All the stores sell x breeds and I don't think they're the same. So if anyone has some not quite show standard or older hens they want to sell/pass on within a reasonable pickup distance of Brisbane please reply to my message.
